Firm360 Reports Overview

Below you will find a brief description of each report offered within Firm360.

 

Time Sheets: (use case - firms payroll) We are not a payroll processing provider, we track time for billing and invoicing but you can track time and use this report for export purposes.

  • Shows time based on date
  • Can pick selected users or all users
  • Click “expand” will show all the time
  • The lock means the time has been approved (is approved when invoice is created or when time is approved manually)
    • People manually approve time to lock it and make it unable to edit the time when they are not ready to invoice yet
  • Summary is going to give you an easy breakdown of all hours for each employee towards specific types

 

Client Time (Client Time Breakdown Report): (use case: If a client wants to see the time worked, you can export it to CSV and provide this export to the client. Client time reports provide valuable data that can be used for budgeting and forecasting purposes. By analyzing historical time data, the firm can better estimate future resource requirements and budget allocations for upcoming client projects.)

  • Shows all time (invoiced and unvoiced) for each client

 

Staff Utilization: (use case: resource management; performance evaluation)

  • will summarize billable and non-billable hours by user name
  • Circle with the dash flags all time that has been marked “Never Invoice”
    • If you happen to mark time “Never Invoice” by mistake you can come to this report and click the circle with the dash to undo your mistake

 

Client Realization: (The client realization is calculated when an invoice is created in Firm360.)

    • Realization: shows breakdown based on realization; revenue is attributed based on time worked
    • Revenue: shows breakdown based on revenue categories; does not account for realization based on time worked

 

Client Breakdown: (use case- shows you how many clients are assigned to the manager or bookkeeper)

  • Utilizing the Client Breakdown report will help you organize your client and/or user information using our Group By function and the Search Criteria.
  • Additionally, the client breakdown report by contact, with the ability to further break down clients by various criteria such as bookkeeper or other fields, offers valuable insights and functionality for efficient client management, resource allocation, performance tracking, revenue analysis, client segmentation, and relationship management within a CPA firm or professional services organization.

 

Client Payment Promptness: (use case - to get rid of clients who don’t pay)

  • Used for cash flow management, credit risk assessment, client relationship management, accounts receivable aging analysis, performance evaluation, forecasting and budgeting, and compliance and reporting within a CPA firm or any organization managing client payments.

 

User Workload (Staff Workload): (use case - 

  • Provides insight into the assignment of Projects for all Users/staff across the platform. These are currently assigned projects to a staff member, not upcoming projects.

 

Client Project Hours: (use case- 

  • The Client Project Hours Report reports the billable hours, budget hours, and produced dollar amounts.

 

Client Project Status: 

  • The Client Project Status Report projects you a global view of the number of days a project has remained at a particular status.

 

Project Budget to Actual: 

  • The Project Budget to Actual report will show what status the project is in along with the initial budgeted hours, actual hours worked and the remaining budgeted hours.

 

Recurring Projects Management: (use case - firms manage their recurring projects here as well as set up their recurring projects in bulk)

  • The Recurring Projects Report gives you a global view of the recurring projects per client with the Project Name, Next Start Date, Days to Complete and Assigned To fields that can be viewed once exported to a .csv file.

 

Client Uploads:  (Use case - See and manage the client-uploaded documents during tax season. Typically, a staff member will monitor this report and start and assign tax projects based on the documents received. )

  • The Client Uploads Report is used to view all files recently uploaded into your Firm360 platform.

 

Client Engagement Management:

  • The Client Engagement Management Report is here for you to manage all client engagements as well as bulk assign Client Engagements.

 

WIP:

  • This report includes all unbilled line items(on your billing dashboard) in a specific date range. You can search your WIP by billable types, a partner in charge, and much more by utilizing the Group By and Advanced Criteria search functions. Once the WIP(time entry or billable item) is invoiced, the item will be removed from this report.

 

Clients Payment:

  • The client payments report displays a summary of payments – i.e. your cash flow transactions – based on the payments type filtered by a date range.

 

Client Accounts Receivable:

  • Firm360 accounts receivable report shows the amount of receivables by month and provides a breakdown of outstanding customer invoices based on the month they were issued. This type of report helps businesses understand the pattern of invoicing and the timing of customer payments over a specific period.
