July 2025

The new features and updates below were added to Firm360 in July 2025! Click on the blue links for more details on each topic.

Reporting:

NEW Reconciliation Report

This new report gives you a clearer picture of what’s been invoiced, and what’s still outstanding. The Reconciliation Report helps you:

  • Reconcile beginning and ending WIP more efficiently
  • See an overview of your firm’s work over a period
  • Get a consolidated view of balances across clients

Client Uploads Report: See Documents by Project

We’ve made it easier to track client-uploaded documents. This update helps your team stay on top of client uploads and reduces time spent tracking down unassigned documents.

  • Project-Level Counts: The Client Uploads Report now shows how many documents clients uploaded for each specific project, helping you quickly match uploads to work in progress.
  • “No Project” Indicator: Documents not tied to any project appear under a special “No Project” row, so you can easily spot and assign them.
  • Direct Links: Click the new View links to jump straight into a project’s Documents tab or a client’s Documents tab for unassigned uploads.
  • New Filters: Filter the report by Project Template or limit results to Projects Assigned to Me to focus on your workload.
  • Improved Usability: Sort by Client or Most Recent Upload Date

Reports: Enhancements for Speed & Usability

We’ve rolled out several improvements to make working with large reports smoother and more reliable:

  • Export Progress & Confirmation Message: You’ll now see a message while a report is exporting and once it is complete, so you know it’s working.
  • Faster, More Reliable Exports: Large reports now export in smaller chunks behind the scenes to prevent timeouts.
  • Sticky Headers: Table headers stay visible as you scroll, so you always know what column you’re in.
  • Show All Rows" Option: You can load all report rows on one page.

User Roles:

NEW User Role! Bulk Document Download: More Flexibility for Non-Admins

We’ve added a new option to help firms manage documents more efficiently without expanding Admin access:

  • New User Role Permission: You can now grant non-Admin users the ability to bulk download documents, saving time and reducing security risks from broad Admin permissions.
  • Firm-Level Enablement Required: This feature only appears if your firm has the Bulk Document Export option enabled by the Firm360 team.
  • Easy User Management: Once enabled, the new permission is visible under Admin > Settings > Users for easy assignment.

If you’d like the Bulk Document Export feature turned on for your firm, just reach out to Firm360 Support, and we’ll be happy to help!
