Client Portal - Manage Payment Methods - Credit Card & ACH

Clients can manage their payment methods from their client portal. They can enter Credit Card information and set up ACH. 

 

1. Select the Payment Methods tab

2. Select the entity 

3. Choose Setup ACH or Setup CC

 

After selecting "Setup ACH"

  1. Enter the Account Holder Name
  2. Choose Account Type
  3. Enter Account Number and Routing Number
  4. Click Save

NOTE: The owner of the bank account will be required to provide details from two test deposits made to the account in order to complete the setup process. Once they have verified their two deposits, their ACH will be set up! Micro-deposits need to be verified within 7 days. After 7 days, you will need to remove the payment method and re-start the process again.

These security measures are in place to make sure your clients' bank information is protected. Please be aware that any online platform that connects to a bank will require this type of deposit verification due to security policy.

Note: Note: ACH payments take up to 1 week for it to be available in your bank account. Please know that holidays can affect the estimated time. 

 

After selecting "Setup CC"

  1. Enter the credit card information - Card Number, Expiration MM / YY, and CVC
  2. Click Save

Note: A daily job, running at 1 PM UTC, will identify ACH setups pending verification for over seven days and automatically send reminder emails to the appropriate recipient—either the client or the Firm360 staff member who originally entered the ACH.
