Upload Documents to multiple locations within Firm360. Document up loads can be done individually or in bulk.
Upload Documents to Firm360
Documents can be Added on the following page locations:
- Global documents tab
- Client documents tab
- Project documents tab
Click the Blue Add + button to Add Documents
Once you have selected to add a document a window modal will appear for you to fill out.
1. Select/Enter the optional information in the fields.
- Client (required field)
- Project
- Contact
- Type: This will add a default document type for all documents uploaded
- Year
If you do not choose a default type and year, you will be prompted/required to fill those fields individually for each document you upload. If you choose a default type and year you can still modify those individually for each document.

3. Folder: Folders can be created to organize your documents. Simply fill in the corresponding line with a folder title.
4. Files to Upload: Selected files will appear here. Details entered in previous step will be adopted by all files selected for import. Individual files can be updated prior to saving
5. Drag OR Select Files: Upload up to 500 documents. Files will be added to the Files to Upload section
6. Trashcan Icon: Any documents selected by mistake can be deleted
7. Save: Click on Save to finish the upload process
Note: Upload limit is 1gb at a time (one document or many).
If you upload multiple large files it may take a few minutes to finish uploading (depending on your upload speed). You can chose to cancel the upload during the process.
Uploaded Documents are now available in Firm360
Note: You may bulk upload a variety of file types at one time. The files do not have to be of the same type(ie. images, PDF, or MS Word files). A document file size limit is up to 1 GB. Anything higher than 1 GB, cannot be uploaded due to our system only allowing up to 1 GB.
Add Document Link Files to Firm360
When enabled, this feature allows users to link external documents (e.g., Google Drive or O365) instead of uploading files directly to Firm360. If you're linking files from Google Drive, ensure that the sharing settings are updated to "Anyone with the link."
Once Enable you will see the option to Link Files when adding new documents:
- Click on the Link Files button
- Add one or multiple Document Links
- Click on the link image to directly link you to the document. Link will open in a new browser tab
Bulk Upload a Document to Clients
- Navigate to the Clients Tab.
- Select the Clients
- Click the Gear Icon
- Select Bulk Upload Document
