Billing – Client Billing Worksheet

The Client Billing Worksheet is generated from the Billing Dashboard and can be exported as a PDF for review. This report provides a detailed view of Work in Progress (WIP) by client and project, helping your firm determine what should be billed.

Billers and billing managers can use this worksheet to review and confirm billing amounts before creating invoices.

What the Billing Worksheet Shows

The Billing Worksheet includes the following details:

  • Client name and project

  • Date of each entry

  • Line item description

  • Staff member associated with the entry

  • Hours and billing rate

  • Subtotal and invoice amount

  • Whether the item is included on the invoice

Totals and Subtotals

The report groups entries by activity type (such as Bookkeeping, Tax Planning, or Tax Returns) and provides:

  • Subtotals for each Category

  • Overall totals for hours and amounts

  • A summary of amounts to be invoiced

This structure allows you to quickly review how WIP is distributed across services and confirm the total billing amount.
