What to do if your session expires:
If you are working on a document or spreadsheet and your Firm360 session expires, complete your work and save the file to a temporary location on your computer.
Then, log back into Firm360 and navigate to the client’s document list. You will see the file marked as “Checked out by” your name.
To upload your updated version:
Select the document.
Click Actions.
Choose Check In New Version.
Upload the saved file from your computer.
This will replace the checked-out file with your updated version and complete the check-in process.
Alternatively, if you anticipate that your work will take longer than the session timeout allows, use the Check Out option from the Actions dropdown menu before you begin editing.
This will download the file to your computer, allowing you to work on it without being affected by connection time limits.
When you’ve finished editing:
Return to the client’s document list in Firm360.
Select the checked-out file.
Click Actions.
Choose Check In New Version.
Upload the updated file from your computer.
This will replace the previous version and complete the check-in process.
