Gmail - Integration Setup & Disconnect

Enable Google Mail integration for your firm:

1. Navigate to to Settings in the Black Ribbon

2. Under the Integrations section Enable Email Sync Integration Provider Option 
   Note: Setup requires the Admin user role

 

To setup Google Mail sync, each user must complete the following steps:

1. Click on the Gear icon next to your name,   

2. Click on  Google Email Sync

 

 

3. Click the "Connect Google" button

 

4.  Choose the Email associated with your Firm360 login credentials

 

5.  Click Continue

 

6. Click Allow

7.  The integration is set up for the user selected

8. Disconnect this integration if desired

 

How to view synced Emails

1. Navigate to to the Activities Tab for a Client

2. Click on Email to view Synced emails

3. View and Edit: View or edit the message.

 

Additional Information

• The Firm360 Google Email Integration automatically syncs incoming emails. When an email is identified as being related to a client, an Email Activity is created in Firm360 with the email content. Emails are linked to a client when the email address matches one of the recipients or the sender listed in the client's contact information within Firm360.
   
• The Firm360 Google Email Integration does not automatically syncs outgoing emails unless you include a Firm360 Users login credentials email in the Email Message.

    • Example: Compose and Email to a Client Include your Email as a recipient
      
• When a contact is linked to multiple clients, when syncing the integration will make an educated guess and mark the activity for review on your dashboard. From there, you can easily approve the suggestion or reassign it to a different client with just a click.
  
   
• Firm360 pulls in new emails every 10 minutes.  If you receive and delete an email right away in your email platform, it will not be synced into Firm360.

Troubleshooting:

If your Google Email Sync is not working, please disconnect, clear cache and cookies for the web browser, then re-connect.

If your account is disconnected you will receive the email below directing you to reconnect.
