Adding/Using a Subtask

A subtask can be used when there are "steps within steps" needed to complete a project.

The purpose of this article is to give instruction on how to add these to a project template, and how to mark complete.

Add a Subtask to Tasks in a Project Template

1.  Go to Customizations. Select "Project Templates"

2. Select the project template you wish to edit.

3. Under each task option, you will see "Add Subtask" 

4. Click the + button to add a subtask.  Click on the check mark icon next to the text field to Save.

5. Edit or Delete a Subtask by clicking on the blue edit pencil or the blue x

6. You can add a link to a subtask and it will create a button that will take you directly to that link. NOTE: the link must be at the end of the subtask (not in the middle of text).

 

 

How to Check off Subtasks for Completion

1. Navigate to the Tasks Tab either under the Client or under a Specific Project. Click on the Checkbox of the Subtask you want to mark complete.
