The Billing Notes section allows you to store important billing instructions directly on the Client's Billing tab, so your team can easily reference them when creating invoices.
Overview
Billing details are often stored in emails or chat, which can lead to missed information and errors. Billing Notes provide a centralized place to capture key instructions for each client.

- Retainer limits

How to Access and Add Notes
- Go to Clients
- Select a client
- Click the Billing tab
- Find the Billing Notes section at the top
- Click Edit to add a Billing Note
- Add pertinent Billing Notes and click Save
Only users with the Billing role can edit notes. Others will have view-only access.
Key Details
- Up to 2,000 characters
- Notes are saved per client
- Billing Notes are exportable on the Client Data Export available on the Client Search Screen
