1. Once the signature request process is completed, the client(s) will receive an email from Progress/RightSignature with the request.
2. When the client(s) clicks “Review & Sign Document,” they will be presented with the document to sign.
3. The client(s) can proceed to sign and submit the document. After the signers have completed all required fields, they will then have the option to download the document for their records prior to submitting the signatures to you.
4. Once all signers have signed, you will receive an email from RightSignature advising that the document signing is complete.
5. The final signed/executed document will be pulled back into Firm360 automatically and checked in as a new version of the document.
If you have KBAs enabled for a signature request and the client accesses the request from within the client portal, they will receive the following alert:
Email Verification Process - For NEW contacts, clients signing via the client portal or clients who haven't previously used RightSignature services.
Your client will receive a separate email from RightSignature after they have signed documents sent to them via Right Signature.
The email verification step is a part of RightSignature's process for new contacts or those who haven't previously used their services. This is a security measure by RightSignature to ensure the signer's identity is verified. It's not something set up by Firm360, but rather a standard procedure from RightSignature.
Signed Documents will still show as "Pending" until the email verification step from RightSignature has been completed by the Client.
Once the document is fully executed and the email verification step is completed you will receive an email notification stating: All signers have signed and the document is now executed. Copies have been sent to "Requester's name".
Your signed document will now show as a completed signed document in your Firm360.
If your clients continue to experience issues, it may be best to get in touch with RightSignature's support team for further assistance. They'll be able to provide more detailed guidance on this verification process.
To ensure that Clients receive a pdf copy of the completed document via email:
You will need to turn on this feature in your RightSignature account under your Account "Settings" as shown below. Make sure to toggle the "Attach completed PDF in emails" to the "On" position.
