Alternate Contacts Receive Client Portal Notifications

When managing client communications, it’s important to ensure that all relevant parties are kept informed. If you need to communicate with someone other than the client’s primary contact, you can easily set them as the client’s alternate contact. This allows the alternate contact to receive all client portal notifications, ensuring that they are up-to-date without needing to go through the primary contact.

Steps to Set an Alternate Contact:

  1. Access the Client Profile: Log in to the client management system and navigate to the specific client’s main page within their profile.

  2. Edit Client Information: Click the blue "Edit Client" button in the upper right corner of the page.

  3. Set Alternate Contact: Ensure that an alternate contact is selected in the dropdown under this client field.

  4. Save Changes: Confirm and save the updates to the client profile.

By setting an alternate contact, you can streamline communication and ensure that critical information reaches all necessary parties promptly. The alternate contact will now receive all Client Portal notifications instead of the primary contact.
