Customizations - Billable Types

Firm360 includes a set of global default Billable Types. However, if you don’t see a category that fits your needs, you can easily add a custom one through the Customizations tab.

Note: You must have the Admin Role to access this part of the platform.

Steps to Add a Custom Billable Type:

1. Navigate to Customizations:

  • In the Admin section, locate Customizations on the black ribbon on the left.

2. Find Billable Types:

  • Click on Billable Types to open the settings window.

3. Add a New Billable Type:

  • In the Billable Types window, click Add Billable Type in the bottom-right corner.

4. Enter Your Custom Type:

  • A pop-up window will appear. Enter the name of the new billable type you’d like to add. 

5. Select A Parent Category:

  • Associate the new billable type with a select billable category.

6. Add Description Templates (Optional):

7. Add A Rate:

  • You must associate an hourly rate with each billable type.
    • Nonbillable Types = $0.00
    • Billable Type = at least $1.00

8. Save Your Changes:

  • Click Save, and your custom billable category will be added to Firm360.

Now, your new billable type is ready to use!
