Firm360 allows you to add Status Notes to a project that can be displayed to clients in the Client Portal. This feature helps keep clients informed about the progress of their project without needing to send separate messages.
When enabled, the status note will appear in the Client Portal alongside the project status, providing additional context about where the project stands.
How Status Notes Work
Status Notes are tied to Project Statuses.
When a project is moved into a status that includes a client-facing note, the note becomes visible in the Client Portal.
This allows you to provide updates such as:
“Waiting on additional documents”
“In Review”
“Ready for Signature”
“Filed with IRS”
Status Notes improve transparency and reduce the need for manual status update emails.
