Invoice reminders allow you to automatically notify clients of unpaid invoices, helping reduce manual follow up and improve collections.
How Invoice Reminders Work
When enabled, reminders are sent automatically based on the invoice due date:
- A reminder is sent on the due date
- Additional reminders are sent every 30 days until the invoice is paid or a new invoice is generated
Reminders are sent for the most recent unpaid invoice only.
Who Receives Reminders
Reminder emails are sent to contacts based on the client’s billing setup:
- Contacts marked as Billing
- Contacts with Include this contact in recipients for billing emails enabled
- If no billing contacts exist, the Primary Contact or Alternate Contact
- If no contacts are available, the reminder is sent to the Partner in Charge (PIC)
Requirements
- The invoice must be sent through Firm360
- Any invoice in the Sent Status will receive the reminder
- Reminders are not sent for invoices in the New Status
