If a client is unable to access the client portal- they will have the option to update their information with you via the client portal self-registration option.
1. The client would log in as normal.
2. If the client does not receive the code- they are able to click this button to provide your firm with their correct information:
3. After selecting Click Here the client would enter their correct information in this screen
4. The client will then receive this prompt to validate their e-mail.
5. Once the code is entered, they will receive the following message:
6. On the user side in Firm360, you will receive a request e-mail if:
- You have the role (found in Users in the black ribbon of: Client Portal Access Management AND
- Your notification preferences are turned on for My Project Client Actions Completed Notifications in your user profile.
7. The request e-mail will look like the following, and once you click View Requests it will take you to Firm360.
8. Once on the Access Request page, you will be able to see all pending requests.
9. Once you click View you will be able to see the details that the client entered and be able to compare them with any existing contact.
9. Once you click here it will take you to the contacts page where you are able to compare the information. The information the client provided in the request is located at the top of the page in blue. As we can see here- the social security numbers are different which was preventing the client from accessing the portal.
10. Once you have reviewed the information, you can click to Reject or Approve. If you click approve, you can write a message to the client letting them know their information has been updated and they are now able to access the client portal.
