If you have a client nickname you can use this as the client name.
Note: This will only affect new clients moving forward (any client added after 3/24/2023). In order to apply this feature to preexisting clients you will need to follow the same directions linked in this article.
Here's how:
- Admins must turn on the Use Nickname When Generating Client Name toggle in Settings
- Then, navigate to a client by clicking on Clients tab on the ribbon the left and select a client that you would like to use a nickname for.
- Once client has been selected, click on the Contacts tab in the clients profile > Action > Edit Details
- In the example above, we will be working with Contact Thomas White and assigning his a nickname of TJ. You will notice that her Client name will change to the nickname TJ once applied like in the example below:
- Once you enter in the nickname, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
- You will now see TJ in the client name.
